Phillip     You’re a doctor?

Tony         A natural doctor, an herbalist. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology. I am the author of 15 books in the illness, superfood line.

Phillip      Wow, so you’re aware of holistic health.

Tony        Oh, absolutely.

Phillip     And what happened when you got in the Relax sauna? When did you get it, last year?

Tony      I got it about a year ago, yeah

Phillip     Why did you get it?

Tony        I’m into health. I want to stay as healthy as possible. I do a lot of lecturing, a lot of radio, a lot of television and  I want to live as good as possible and stay lean and fit and I started to use it and could not believe the reaction that I got when I started using it. I sweated like crazy for the first time in 25 minutes. That’s what I started out with.  I’ve done up to an hour on various other saunas but I didn’t see the benefits as much as I felt using this. This is quite remarkable. I just close it right up. Obviously, I have on my suit today.  I just close it right up. You can bring your hands through here which is really interesting and I put a towel around my neck and I just sit back there and I just use it and I love it.  I sweat.  I feel better. I sleep better. I have less discomfort.

I had an injury a couple years ago where I fell 5200 feet in Sedona, in Arizona, and I hurt my hip.  And I’ve been using natural remedies rather than going the medical route, rather than using medication, rather than using and taking excessive amount of drugs, being a natural doctor. And I use the sauna a couple of times a week. One of your staff members told me, I think maybe it was your wife, said. “Use it every day” so I’m going to start doing that.

Phillip     Uh huh,

Tony       I sweat. I’m leaner. I’m fitter. I’m healthier and my skin has improved dramatically

So it’s making the liver work more effectively and the whole lymphatic system work much more effectively. It’s improving your health. It’s getting those toxins out. And that’s what we all need to do, get the toxins out. Get the lead out, get the mercury out, get the waste matter out of our body and so doing, that’s when true health really happens.

Phillip     Yes, you’ve tried other saunas, you said?

Tony        Saunas, yes. You don’t really feel that much. I thought many of them are good: they take longer to heat up. This heats up in an instant! That’s what I like about it. It’s portable and I can take it with me anywhere in the country and that’s what I really like. And it’s light. It’s portable. It’s effective and it really does the job.

Phillip      That’s good.

Tony        Yeah, it really is.

Phillip      Now you’ve written a bunch of books.

Tony        I’ve written 15 books on health. I grew up my native Ireland, family of 11. I had a lot of sickness in my family and that’s why I decided to turn my life towards farming, organic farming. I’m a farm boy from Ireland.

Phillip     Wow.

Tony        …towards helping people understand what quality living is all about. I lost my father, my mother, my brother, my uncle, my cousin all to heart disease and and cancer and I thought there’s got to be a better way. And so this is why I teach people the true essence about. “You are what you eat.”

Phillip      Yes.

Tony       You become what you think about all day long and you’ve got to make better choices. We’re at a cancer conference here in San Diego and there’s lots of doctors from all over the world here and the room is filled with cancer patients. We know there’s something abundantly wrong with our food and the choices that we make on a daily basis. Our food is not like it was 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, a hundred years ago. Organic farming is almost nonexistent in this country with the exception of some farmers markets and a few organic farmers around the country. We live on boxed foods. We live on genetically modified food. We take in copious amounts of drugs. We don’t exercise enough. We don’t drink enough water. We don’t take in fiber. We take in too much soft drinks. We are a mess!  We smoke!  We’re a disaster really – a certain segment of our population. So it’s time we become more mindful, more aware of the choices we make on a daily basis and this is why I really believe in detoxification.

It’s nothing new, by the way.  Detoxification has been written about for thousands of years by various cultures, ethnicities from around the world, more so in Europe than in this country.  The native American indians used the sweat lodges. In Germany, you go to Baden-Baden. You go to all those sweat lodges over there that are quite remarkable. Many have the saunas now.

But this is quite remarkable. It heats up the body. It creates a level of sweating that allows you to get rid of those toxins and when you get rid of those toxins, your body starts to breathe. Your body can’t breathe when is filled with toxins and is full of debris and excess waste matter. The root cause of most disease and ill health in this country, as we know, is systemic toxins and poor nutrition. So what this does is a simple way for you, in the comfort of your own home, or if you’re traveling in your hotel room to bring it with you, plug it in, turn on the timer and you’re ready to go. 10 minutes, 25 minutes, a half an hour, whatever time you feel it is comfortable for you.

Tony       …you are going to sleep so magnificent. Feel better and you’re definitely going to see a difference in your hair, your skin and your nails. Why? Because it’s providing oxygenation and bacteria and viruses cannot survive in an oxygen-rich environment. The Nobel prize was won for that way back in 1939, 1941…

Phillip      Yes.

Tony        …and Otto Warburg and Johanna Budwig. So we know this is s simple way. It’s an easy way. It’s an affordable way. It’s a safe way. And is a noninvasive way for you to get healthy, to get lean and get fit and also to allow yourself a better quality of life. And that is what this is all about. Tony       Yeah.

The things I just mentioned, the yoga, Pilates, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, drink as much water as I can, difficult though when I’m traveling sometimes. So we are at this magnificent Answer for Cancer summit here in San Diego and there’re so many people, it breaks my heart…

Phillip      Yes.

Tony       …that have health challenges. I lost my fiancé to cancer. I lost my brother. I lost my father, my mom, all to ill healtand dysbiosisis and of not understanding, not eating the right food. Because we think our food is good for us, when in fact, it’s not, because a lot of our food is now tainted. Many people say there’s more fiber in the box than is in the actual food itself. Got to get back to the basics of the food group.

Phillip      Yes.

Tony        That means making better choices, eating more fresh fruits and vegetables and being mindful. And of course, not forgetting meditation and prayer…

Phillip      Right

Tony       …and connection and enjoy and health and happiness and laughing!  Laughing is good!

Phillip     Oh, yes! Yes!

Tony        Laughter is really good.

Phillip      I got into fasting and all this 45 years ago in the holistic health field.

Tony        That’s why are you look so great.

Phillip     Yeah, right, right.

Tony        So I really love this system, and as I said. I don’t generally endorse unless I really believe in it and unless I believe in the people that are behind it. Unless I see for myself that it actually works so I can’t recommend this portable, delightful sauna enough.  I say, “I can put my hands through it right here, so easy to use.” I close it right up when I’m at home. You go in there naked if you want. You can go in there with your shorts on you.

Phillip      Sure.

Tony        You can stay in there for 20 minutes, 25 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, as long as you want. Make sure, as I mentioned, make sure that you’re well hydrated before you go in. Make sure you’re hydrated when you get out. You relax, take it easy, towel off, dry yourself off and get a great nights sleep. And you will see if you do this on a continuous basis, you will start

to get a great glow…

Phillip     Right.

Tony        … in your skin. Many people tell me. “Have you’ve been out in the sun?” “No, I’ve been in the sauna.” What it’s doing is, it’s oxygenating the blood and bacteria and viruses cannot exist in an oxygen-rich environment. This is turned off right now. Obviously, when I’m in here…

Phillip      Otherwise, you’d be sweating like crazy.

Tony        …I’d be sweating like crazy.  I have my suit on. So it’s very easy, you just zip it up from the bottom. Make yourself nice and comfortable. You want to read a book, you can hold a book in front of you. you can read it. I keep this closed up. Why? Because I want to keep all the heat in.

Phillip      Right. yes.

Tony        I get the benefits.

Phillip      Yes.

Tony         So a couple nights a week, there’s no excuse for not being healthy in the greatest country in the world, the United States of America. We have abundance. We have choices. Make sure you make really good choices after viewing this video.

New York Medical Doctor – Every Home Should Have a Relax Sauna

Lauren    My name is Lauren Child.  I’m a doctor practicing in New York and I bought the sauna last year. I use it every night, five nights a week, myself. I even have a cedar sauna in my home. That’s for the weekend. That’s an event. But for every night before I go to bed, it helps me sleep. It helps my joints sometimes. It helps sometimes when I go into an Ashtanga yoga.

Phillip      Beautiful. How do you deal with the electrical currents In Brazil?

Lauren   We have our adapters.

Lauren    We plug it in just like we do with our electrical toothbrush.

Tony      My name is Dr. Tony Zhen, a clinical nutritionist and PhD in molecular biology and molecular pharmacology.

Tony      At this conference, but last year.

Tony     I put it in my clinic and mostly using it for the cancer patients, because it can raise the temperature of the body up to around 138° and most cells can tolerate that temperature but cancer cells cannot

Phillip   Is this Fahrenheit or centigrade?

Tony      It’s Fahrenheit.

Tony      No, the inside temperature of the body.

Tony      The normal cells can tolerate up to around 42, 43 C-cells
